AVIS Rapla got off to a hot start, as William Artino's 6 points and 3 boards in just three minutes led the way to a 9-2 start. Nevertheless, the lead was soon swiped away, as Lietkabelis piled up a 9-0 run of their own.
While the Estonians managed to finish the initial quarter on a higher note, Lietkabelis soon erased the small deficit and ignited another run, eleven-to-nothing. It was now the Lithuanians ahead by 8 with twenty minutes of basketball remaining.
