Barsy took the lead early, as they raced off to a 9-1 start. Nevertheless, it didn‘t grow out to be anything more serious and the home side was back within a shout after ten minutes of action.

Although the visitors seemed to have built a solid lead, it was blown away in a matter of minutes after a 14-3 run by Jurmala. It was a seesaw affair in the final period, but Barsy managed to reach a two-possession lead when it mattered most, and bruised towards the victory.
