First half dominance leads Barons kvartals past Nevezis

KEDAINIAI – Barons kvartals got off to a good start, bashing past their opponents in the first half of the game and then coasted to a 95-84 victory against Nevezis on Wednesday night.

Barons kvartals had no trouble finding good looks from downtown throughout the game, as they buried 6 three-pointers in the first quarter alone. That helped them amass a 20-10 lead after ten minutes.

They added another four three-pointers in the second quarter, as their aggressive play on both ends of the court pushed their lead to 21 at halftime.

The margin reached 28 midway through the third period and it seemed all said and done at that point. Nevertheless, Nevezis put up a series of successful plays and carved down the lead. It was never going to be a close game, but the Lithuanians at least made the score bearable.

Barons kvartals made three pointers at an incredible 14-of-21 three-pointers and that opened up the way for easier paths to the basket.
