Jekabpils were struggling early on and found themselves far behind after the initial ten minutes. The sights on-court changed drastically in the second quarter, however, as it was now Jurmala/Fenikss being tossed around.
With a quarter of dominance each, the sides still seemed very much equally matched until the final quarter. There was nothing to take out of the third quarter, as the two sides were neck to neck the whole way.
Jekabpils held only a three-point advantage after thirty minutes, but a 15-5 start to the final segment allowed them to build an insurmountable lead.
Rinalds Sirsnins was once again lighting it up from beyond the arc, as he swished and dished for 20 points and 9 assists. Arturs Duselis added 13 points, while Pavels Veselovs finished the game with 11. Janis Poznaks came off the bench to add another 11 points, as Tyler Larson was close to a double-double with 9 points and 9 rebounds.
The two leading scorers for Jurmala/Fenikss were not in the starting unit, as Casey Roberts led the way with 12 points. Ivars Zvigurs stuffed the box score with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocked shots, while Maris Ziedins and Edgars Jeromanovs ended the game with 9 points each.
