The two clubs traded blows like heavyweight boxers throughout the first quarter, as the lead changed hands 5 times just in the initial 10 minutes. It seemed neither team could get any breathing room, but two three-pointers to close the quarter did just that.
It was a nip-and-tuck affair in the second period as well and the score was tied at 35 at halftime.
Right out of the break, it was all Jurmala, as they got off to a 12-0 run to open the quarter and were out ahead by double-digits for the first time. Nevertheless, that did not last long, as three straight three-pointers put the game back into reach for TTU.
Once again, Jurmala/Fenikss started the quarter on a high note, scoring the ten opening points to push ahead by 14. The game was already out of reach, but TTU did not let that stop them from putting up a run to trim the lead to just 6 right before the game ended.
Edgars Jeromanovs had a solid game, as he put up 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Ugis Pinete was a solid wingman for him with 14 points, while Arturs Duselis ended the game in double-digit territory with 11.
On the losing side, Vaidotas Volkus led the way with 18 points to his name, while Teddy Okereafor chipped in with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Reinar Hallik added 12 points to the total.
