Ogre destroy Barsy at home

OGRE - A destructive performance by Ogre shocked visiting Barsy, as the Latvians secured a huge 96-51 victory on Tuesday evening.

 

Barsy had a good start to the game, winning the first quarter by three points, 17-14, however after that they broke down - losing the second and third quarter by a combined 58-25 score. 

The dominance in the midst of the game allowed Ogre to advance their lines far ahead. Nevertheless, that was not the end of their run, as the final quarter put everything into place, with another high-scoring quarter.

Ogre ended up winning by a season-high 45 points, led by 22 points from Rinalds Sirsnins. Marcis Vitols added 20 points to the game, while Janis Antrops added 14 points.

For Barsy, Dmitrii Ezhin was the leading scorer with 17 points, while Nened Milosevic added 11 games to the tally.
