Pyrinto blow out Tyco Rapla

TAMPERE ‒ Pyrinto ran away to a 19-point already after the first quarter in an easy 112-59 victory at home against Tyco Rapla on Sunday evening.

The Group A leaders from Finland improved to an 8-1 mark, while the visitors from Estonia are on the opposite end of the standings with a 1-6 record.


Pyrinto shocked the guests by starting the game with a 14-0 run, with Antero Lehto and Benjamin Raymond scoring six points each in the span.

After a setting off the fireworks early and finishing the opening quarter with a 27-8 lead, the Tampere club went on to take the three remaining quarters as well, as they cruised on to take the win.

Antero Lehto finished the game with a game-high 21 points for Pyrinto, Topias Palmi collected 16 points, while Benjamin Raymond and Yannick Anzuluni chipped in with 13 points apiece.

Tyco Rapla’s top scorer Martin Dorbek had a team-high 13 points, Dusan Sisic had 11 points, as Rait-Riivo Laane added 10.
