Having won the first game by just three points, Pieno Zvaigzdes were not in a position where they could feel complacent and soon enough Tomas Delininkaitis wiped that away with a three-pointer to open up the game. A number of easy baskets followed and Vytautas found themselves up 17-2.
While the home side managed to regain some composure before the end of the quarter, the duo of Tomas Delininkaitis and Regimantas Miniotas, who combined for 18 points, had Vytautas in front 22-11.
Pasvalys struggled to open up the second quarter successfully, as the margin between the two clubs grew to 16. However, as the quarter reached its’ halfway mark, Pieno Zvaigzdes managed to turn up the intensity, bringing the game back within single digits.
Pasvalys was all fired up entering the second half, as they quickly chopped up the deficit and made it just a one possession game. Nevertheless, Vytautas responded with a 20-1 run and pulled back ahead.
A couple of threes from the home side gave them a glimmer of hope, but time was running out and the lead seemed too great to overcome. Vytautas finished out the game strong and went home victorious.
